About the role
Lumen Freight is hiring an operations manager to run the morning board for grocery routes. When a truck is late, you decide the backup and tell the customer before they have to ask. The role sits between dispatch, drivers, and the account team.
What you will do
- Run the morning board and name the late loads before 8
- Choose a backup plan and tell dispatch in one note
- Call the grocery account before a miss becomes a surprise
- Write the end-of-week recap: what broke, what to change
What they ask for
- Experience in freight, warehouse, or another live operations desk
- Calm decisions when the plan changes
- Clear updates, spoken and written
- Willingness to start early in the Denver office
